start ▪ ▪ Arriving from two very different worlds almost at the very same time, this unlikely duo sharing one common tongue and nothing else collide in Nuadoria like an explosion of fireworks (or correctly, a punch to the face). Initially believing Gilbert to be a spy sent by the Yamamura/Tōdō family, Megumi attempts to kill him (keyword being "attempt") only to quickly discover her misunderstanding when the true nature of the land that they have now been drawn into reveals itself. An odd friendship is formed as the two realize they're, quite literally, in the same shit ...
